While our primary focus is on fishing in Argentina and Chile, there are other locations around the globe that are well worth visiting too. In fact, one of the great angling dilemmas is that of too many places to fish and too little time. New Zealand and Mongolia are a couple of countries that should be on any serious angler's list.

New Zealand

What can I say... sight fishing for large fish, stunning scenery and warm, friendly folks. New Zealand should be on everyone's list of places to visit. We are delighted to be able to offer you Owen River Lodge. Located on the South Island, Owen River Lodge is New Zealand's only 5 star rated lodge. On the North Island, we are proud to represent Poronui Ranch, a vast private ranch offering a superb lodge and excellent fishing on the private waters of the ranch.

If you're just looking for a guide for some fishing time in New Zealand, we've got that too - Back Country Trout Guide Service are our go-to guys.

Mongolia

Mongolia really is a step back in time. Nomadic families, sleeping in portable, warm Gers and fishing for Taiman, a species of fish that can only be described as prehistoric and Lenok, that will fill your days slurping down dry flies. Mongolia River Outfitters offer superb float trips on an isolated river so far away from the madding crowd that it takes a little time to readjust after a trip! The guides and camp staff are superb and the experience is second to none.
